Active Directory and Advanced Kerberos Integration with Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server

This two-day class is designed to give the Macintosh administrator a view into the Windows world of Active Directory and how Active Directory can integrate into Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server. With Active Directory and Mac OS X Server, administrators can create a unique managed environment permitting the best of both Open Directory and Active Directory. Known as the Golden Triangle, creating that relationship between Active Directory and Open Directory on both Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server requires knowledge in several different areas. Also, Mac OS X Server-like Windows 2003 Server-includes a Kerberos infrastructure. But how does it work? What is involved in creating realms and principals? Learn how to properly setup and manage a Kerberos Key Distribution Center, including how to troubleshoot Kerberos issues and handle complex, cross-realm authentication scenarios.
